Triangle Family Services’ (TFS) mission is to build a stronger community by strengthening the family; they fulfill their mission through programs focused on Family Safety, Financial Stability, and Mental Health. TFS seeks a Clinical Director to oversee the Individual & Family Counseling (IFC) Program, which specializes in evidence-based trauma treatment to children, families and adults. This position will help to prepare the team for growth and change in the context of Medicaid Transformation and will collaborate with the Practice Administrator, Clinical Supervisor, Revenue Cycle Manager and Senior Leadership Staff to ensure efficient and compliant operations along with high-quality, client-centered care.
Primary job responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clinical supervision to therapists (and interns) in an environment that promotes professional growth and development.
Monitor, model and implement productivity standards to ensure therapists meet established standards for sessions, caseloads and billing.
Ensure compliance with all program requirements, to include staff training, grant commitments, payer sources and accreditation entities.
Maintain own (limited) client caseload and provide back-up coverage and support as necessary.
Maintain and update operational and clinical policies and procedures.
Represent agency at community meetings associated with mental health service delivery for purposes of outreach, networking, partnerships, etc.
Provide strategic direction for programmatic planning and growth, to include Medicaid Transformation, and contribute to department budgeting, contracting, practice development and partnership opportunities.
Advanced degree in Psychology, Social Work or an allied mental health field with license to practice in North Carolina.
Knowledge of mental health/illness, diagnosis using current DSM5, and individual and group modalities.
Thorough knowledge of code of ethics of professional degree, as well as cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of populations served; commitment to practices that value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
5+ years as direct service provider, with experience and success supervising other clinical staff.
Demonstrated ability to balance and communicate clinical quality concerns and productivity expectations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to covert big picture goals to operational tactics.
Comfort using technology applications to document work and track progress and outcomes.
