Job Duties:

• Employment by ECU Health Physicians-Academic Employment model
• Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974- bed academic medical center
• Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system
• Established division offering a blend of clinical care, teaching and scholarly activities
• Assist in the teaching and clinical supervision of medical students, residents and other health professional trainees
• Collaboration with other faculty members in conducting clinical research, with the opportunity to initiate projects if desired
• Function as a university faculty member, performing such duties as appropriate to academic rank and position
• Salary and academic rank (tenure track or fixed-term) commensurate with experience and academic background

Special Instructions To Application:

Minimum Education/Experience:

1. MD or DO from an appropriately accredited institution, or completed foreign medical education accepted and recognized for ECFMG Certification.
2. Completion of accredited and adolescent residency
3. Board certified in general psychiatry and adolescent psychiatry
4. Must be eligible to obtain license to practice medicine in North Carolina
