Community Development Specialist I
Purpose of Position: The primary purpose of this position is to manage the grant projects proposed and approved for the distribution of the Opioid Settlement funding through the approved grant processes and contract executions. The primary efforts will be spent managing the implementation of evidence-based strategies in the community related to preventing and treating substance use disorders. This position will be responsible for managing current and emerging projects that integrate public health prevention strategies, drug treatment strategies, and behavioral health programs through opioid settlement funds that aim to address the opioid crisis for Pitt County.
